Kent State Baseball Still Alive in NCAA College World Series!!

Awesome, exciting baseball game played by a local university! Just watched the Kent State Golden Flashes knock off No. 1 Florida on ESPN in an elimination game to stay alive in the College World Series (CWS). This tournament is like the Elite Eight of March Madness and typically dominated by powerhouse schools on the West Coast and South.

In the 9th inning with Kent leading 5-4, things looked grim because Florida loaded the bases with 1 out. Just a base hit by the Gators would have ended the Golden Flashes 2012 season! I honestly thought it was going to conclude with our Ohio team packing their bags but Kent got a called strike for the 2nd out and then they clinched victory with a fly out to right. This was Kent’s first CWS victory in the history of their baseball program. HUGE Congrats! Kent will face the winner of the elimination game between Arkansas and South Carolina and they must win to keep their season going. Check out Kent State baseball news and next game info here.

In other sporting news, Roger Clemens found innocent on all counts – whaaaatt!?!?!

And finally, in more important news, C likes to fly! A video of this little girl’s giggle coming soon – get excited.
